SRD Management provides Design Project Management as well as Construction Management Services for projects from inception to project acceptance.

Our services start with review of needs assessment and programming of building's functional requirements based on owners' needs, followed by review of Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents. We assist the owner in obtaining Jurisdictional Approvals, provide bid analysis and provide recommendation of the award of the Construction Contract.

Current Services:
SRD Management is currently providing Program Management services for capital projects for Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. Capital projects include Sheriff's Stations, Probation Office buildings and Fire Stations. Several Sheriff Stations San Dimas, Palmdale, Athens, Lennox, and Carson Sheriff Station are part of the program. The effort included managing the programming, design development and construction management.

Pre-design activities included managing of consultants for the soils investigations, phase I and II environmental investigation, environmental impact reports, topographical surveys, utility surveys and brown-field site remediation.

The design management included preparation of scope of work to retain architects and engineers, preparation of budget and schedule, preparation of Board Letters for authorization of agreements and award of contracts, management of jurisdictional reviews and approvals from Local, State and Federal Authorities, independent estimates, and adherence to sustainable design goals. Several procedures were prepared such as project check list and claim avoidance measures were implemented such as peer reviews and constructability reviews.

The construction management effort included supervising the Construction Project Managers for adherence to budget and schedule, provided oversight on claims analysis, estimating, management of the deputy inspection services, inspection services, commissioning, close out of projects, including several training sessions with the user's group and the maintenance personnel in use of the facilities and the equipments. ADA issues were monitored and corrected prior to substantial completion of the projects.

The principal provided management of several underground MTA Stations. The program included Red Line underground stations on Wilshire Corridor: Wilshire / Vermont, Wilshire / Normandie and Wilshire/ Western Station. Several stations along Vermont and Hollywood line were next in the program management scope of work. Especially, Vermont Sunset Station, Hollywood Highland station for which coordination with the joint developers became very important to build the retail center and the Kodak Theater.

Our principal became LEED Accredited Professional in 2004 and has provided LEED training to client's staff pursuing accreditation exam. We are committed to professional development of our employees and owner's staff on specialized subjects such as LEED, CHPS, BIM, ADA, commissioning, claims avoidance, design build and close outs.

Other Services:
We provide review and recommendation of Sustainable Design elements in light of achieving LEED rating for projects.
